United Way Women's Leadership Council
FamilyStories is proud to work with the Women's Leadership Council to create a comprehensive not-for-profit institutional program that directly addresses the diverse needs of families.
FamilyStories Workshops are family experiences designed to empower families to learn, share, create and grow together. These two hour workshops are created for use in a variety of institutional settings including domestic shelters, foster care programs, hospitals, orphanages, faith-based and youth and family organizations. Workshop materials encourage families to share and listen to ideas, stories and activities around the subjects introduced. They build from the latest child development and brain science information. The Workshops are organized in easy-to-use kits including a volunteer guide plus all the materials needed to complete a project.
